How could I have lived just down the road from such an amazing venue and never known? Set in the serene Hertfordshire countryside, Micklefield Hall has everything you need for an amazing wedding.
There are numerous rooms and a bridal suite for the couple and their guests to stay the night before. They’re situated a little out of the way from the main arrival area, so you won’t be spotted by any eager guests arriving early.
Micklefield Hall’s biggest asset is the beautiful manicured grounds that stretch out for miles around. Sip cocktails and nibble on canapés in the large, neat garden lawn. Walk through a maze of flowered gardens that eventually lead to the pièce de résistance, a secluded ceremony area with beautiful water feature and small temple for civil ceremonies.
If the weather holds out, the wedding breakfast will be the first time your guests go inside. The dining area is a 16th century listed barn, big enough for your guests to feast and have the other end of the barn ready with the dance floor for guests to then boogie down for the rest of the night.
